Wolf Rangetop Spark Switch Repair
| Appliance | Wolf |
| Reported symptom | Rangetop kept clicking continuously |
| Work performed | Identified a failed spark switch behind the control panel as the source of continuous sparking; replaced it with an OEM switch and confirmed the clicking stopped. |
What happened
Endless clicking with the burners off is not a haunted cooktop — it is a spark switch stuck closed, telling the ignition module to fire nonstop. Left alone it wears the module out and keeps sparking near gas.
We isolated which switch had failed, replaced it with an OEM part, and verified each knob now sparks only when it should.
