What happened
Both compartments running warm at the same time told us this wasn't a fan or a board — the sealed system itself had lost refrigerant. Diagnosis confirmed a leak, and the owner chose a full rebuild over replacing a built-in unit that otherwise fit the kitchen perfectly.
Compressor, evaporator, drier and service valves were replaced, the system recharged and leak-tested before we left.
